Airport Fire - Colorado Springs
In the middle of the night the Colorado Springs Airport called us to assist with cleanup after a 3 alarm fire damaged parts of the top floor of the terminal.
In addition to structural damage from the fire itself, water from fire sprinklers and from the fire department saturated all 3 levels of the facility.
Airport leadership and the mayor wanted the airport open the following day - a tall task! Enter SERVPRO to the rescue, we had crews and equipment on site within a short time to begin the cleanup and dryout.
In the end, it was a success, the airport opened at 3:30am, less than 30 hours after this major fire. Way to go SERVPRO team!
