Laminated Flooring Gets Wet

This laminated flooring in a dental office in Colorado Springs was covered with water that soaked into the joints overnight. The management company was concerned about the warping of this newly installed flooring. We arrived and suctioned up the pooling water quickly with portable wet vacs. Our fast response and water extraction methodology did prevent the planks from warping or cupping. Not shown, we utilized drying mats to extract any hidden water and moisture that may have seeped to the underside of this laminated material. Shown are new compact heated dehumidifiers that plucked any remaining excess moisture from the ambient air. Our technicians navigated around the course of the normal business day without disrupting the patients or staff.
